That is why we use the most modern equipment to provide you and your eyes with the most extensive exam you’ve ever experienced while we search for any potential problems or warning signs. Not only does this guarantee a perfect prescription, it guards your eye and body from any disease that could harm your sight and overall health.
Advanced Training
The practice of eyecare is forever changing. Because of this we’ve kept up with technology and training with over 2000 hours of post graduate in training in topics like glaucoma, vitamin therapy, supplements, and surgical alternatives such as LASIK and PRK. Our dedication to exploring all options has helped many contact lens patients. Paragon’s CRT and the Frequency Multifocal contact lens are two of the latest options. This is why many of the leaders in contact lens development choose our practice as to introduce these valuable advances.
Recognition of Community Needs
We actively participate with ‘Vision USA‘ and ‘Saving Sight Rhode Island’, two organizations that serve those less fortunate in our community. We sponsor college scholarships for those who will go into a career that will help others through the ‘East Providence Dollars for Scholars‘ and ‘LADO (Latino Dollars for Scholars)’ programs. We also give back to the community through volunteer organizations like the Rotary, Little League, the Lions Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Boys and Girls Club, and Senior Services.
Education

Dr. Brown also sponsors clinical externs who have the dream to run their own practice someday and tirelessly devotes hours and hours to the education of teachers, parents, and community leaders as to the importance of quality vision care.
